About us.
At Sunrise Lakes Mental Health, Hunter is a Licensed Professional Clinician Counselor (LPCC) and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) who has a Masters in Addiction and Mental Health Counseling. Hunter utilizes a solution focused CBT, ACT, and Narrative Therapy approach to work along side people to help identify coping skills, achieve their goals, and create their own story.
Hunter believes in using a collaborative approach to create a safe, accepting, and welcoming environment for everyone. Hunter’s previous experience includes mental health and substance use counseling with adolescents and adults in multiple settings including residential, day-treatment, and outpatient levels of care.
During his free time, Hunter enjoys doing anything that keeps him active. You’ll find him spending a great amount of time on the lake with his family in the summer!
